“I wasn’t happy depending entirely on my husband for everything. I wanted to have something of my own as well. We started a wholesale kitenge fabric business. Once we got the business going, I was able to take a [zero interest] loan through my [Women Ambassador Group]. These three month loans have been a great help to us. We run the business, it makes a profit and we repay the loan.”
