Chairwoman, Kenya Board of Directors

Charity Mureithi is an experienced leader and finance professional with over 25 years’ work experience in the private and not for profit sectors. She has extensive expertise in corporate governance, financial management; development of financial management and internal control systems; human resources and administration, procurement management; capacity strengthening; fiduciary risk management and compliance. 

She has previously worked with TradeMark Africa (formerly TradeMark East Africa) as the Finance Director for over 12 years, KPMG East Africa as an Advisor in the Risk Advisory Services team involved in management of the Multi Donor Trust Fund (MDTF) for Southern Sudan, and has held various roles at the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), Catholic Relief Services (CRS) and at Standard Chartered Bank. 

Charity holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Kenyatta University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Nairobi. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and Women on Boards Network (WOBN).
