CHRISTINE NYIRJESY BRAGALE

Christine Nyirjesy Bragale, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Spirit of America, is known as a global strategist passionate about inspiring action, influencing public policy and driving revenue growth through authentic storytelling and thought leadership. Her decades-long career in communications and marketing includes leadership roles at FHI 360, the USAID Partnerships Incubator (operated by The Kaizen Company), the News Literacy Project, Mercy Corps, Goodwill Industries International, TASC, a national security company, and Weber Merritt, a boutique public affairs agency. 

Over the years, Christine and her teams have garnered multiple industry awards for communication and marketing campaigns, media relations, and print and video content—most recently in 2024, best branding/rebranding campaign of the year and honorable mention for team of the year from Ragan Communications. 

Early in her career, Christine worked for a decade as a television news producer and editor, notably at ITN, France 2 and The Associated Press, where she helped launch the global news agency’s television arm, APTN, and directed its news gathering operations in the Americas. As a member of the White House, Capitol Hill and United Nations press corps, she covered politics, diplomacy and other major international news stories. 

Christine holds a bachelor’s degree in history and a certificate in Latin American studies from Georgetown University, in addition to professional certificates in digital marketing from Columbia Business School and Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. She also holds a global certification as an accredited business communicator (ABC) from the International Association of Business Communicators and is fluent in French, Portuguese and Spanish.
