Benedict M. Nganga
Kenya Country Director
Benedict holds a Master of Arts in Project Planning and Management from The University of Nairobi, Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Nairobi and an Advanced Certificate of Education. He has worked with renowned local and international NGOS in Kenya for over 21 years, rising from social worker to project manager to director. He specializes in strengthening program systems for organizational growth. Benedict joined RefuSHE in January 2015 and now leads its Nairobi operations as Country Director. He is an advocate for young women and girls, particularly those displaced from their homes, and has spoken on the impact of education and economic empowerment for this population at events by the World Bank and International Trade Centre, among others.
